Las Vegas Neil Diamond Tribute Show

The legendary Rob Garrett’s “King of Diamonds” Neil Diamond tribute Las Vegas residency CONTINUES ON in the “MODERN SHOWROOMS” at Alexis Park Las Vegas Hotel.

Neil Diamond is one of the greatest and most admired singer/songwriters in pop/rock music history.

More than just being one of the top-selling and record-breaking touring artists ever, he’s also composed the soundtrack of our lives — including some of the most famous songs on the planet.

In the beginning of 2018, shortly before his 77th year, Neil Diamond stepped away from live performances after being diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease.

However, Diamond’s live performance legacy continues to be preserved for audiences throughout the world through Las Vegas entertainer Rob Garrett, known as America’s premier Neil Diamond tribute performer.

Ask Siri “who is the best Neil Diamond tribute artist,” and you’ll always hear Rob Garrett.

Like his musical hero, Rob Garrett was a Brooklyn, New York native.

In the spring of 1974, his parents relocated from New York City to Las Vegas, where, at age 16, he witnessed his first Neil Diamond concert when Diamond made his attendance-breaking Las Vegas debut at the Aladdin Hotel’s “Theater for the Performing Arts” how much are Neil Diamond tribute show tickets Las Vegas in July 1976.

Garrett went on to see him multiple times across the country—right up until Diamond’s final U.S. concert at the LA Forum on August 12, 2017.

In 1980, Garrett created his own band, “Rock n Roll Heaven,” and enjoyed a long and successful run in Las Vegas and across the nation before transitioning from lead singer of a cover band to a full-time tribute performer dedicated to one of his musical idols.

In 1995, Garrett was hand-picked by the legendary Paul Revere to portray Neil Diamond in the Honolulu production of “Legends in Concert”.

What was meant to be a three-month trial turned into a three-year success.

By August 1998, Garrett was back in Vegas and continued to perform with “Legends” for another couple of years before deciding to go independent.

He began a steady touring schedule, building a large and loyal following along the way—earning the title “King of Diamonds Las Vegas.”

He continues to sell out theaters nationwide, often in venues reserved for national acts.

Garrett has also won numerous awards, including “Male Tribute Artist of the Year.”

“Since Neil Diamond retired, I’ve felt a strong sense of responsibility to keep his legacy alive for future generations. It’s something I never get tired of doing,” he said.

On May 19, Las Vegas Mayor Carolyn Goodman officially proclaimed the date “Rob Garrett Day,” commemorating his 50 years living in Las Vegas and 44 years as a professional Vegas performer.

Now in the year 2025, Garrett celebrates 45 years on stage in Las Vegas, with the last 30 years devoted solely to paying tribute to the now-retired Neil Diamond.

It has been said that no other tribute artist is so closely identified with the original performer as Garrett, who has performed his show at more Las Vegas venues than any other tribute artist.

Since the June closing of “A Beautiful Noise” (the Broadway jukebox musical based on Diamond’s life story), Rob Garrett’s “King of Diamonds” show has become the only active Neil Diamond tribute production in America.

Alexis Park Resort Hotel is located at 375 E. Harmon Ave., near the Las Vegas Strip.
